It's A Boy!!!!!

We found out that the baby is a boy at our ultrasound last Friday! Most importanly is that everything is is looking very healthy. They were able to look closely at his heart, brain, kidneys etc. and everything looks great. He is measuring about 4-6 days ahead of schedule and he weighed about 11 ounces at this appointment. Here are some of the ultrasound pictures. He is such a little cutie!
Michael's Project

Michael's most recent project has been organizing the utility closet and the garage. This organization has been much needed for a while and he wanted to get the garage done before the bitter cold winter. Well, today he made big progress! He hung some shelves and a peg board for his tools as well as some bike hangers. He is so handy, I am so pround and thankful to finally be making some progress on this project. I think in the past 3 or 4 weekends our home has had a total organizational makeover. It is wonderful!
Tummy: 19 1/2 weeks
Here is a picture that we took at Josh and Lindsay's wedding this weekend. It is of my tummy at about 19 and a half weeks. It is getting bigger for sure, but still not huge at all!
New Car!
We realize there is a lot of updating to do on this blog of ours lately. So here goes. We recently bought a new car, actually it is an SUV- a Nissan Murano. It is a great little SUV and will be perfect for transporting the new baby (which is the big reason we got it in the first place.) Anyway, we love the car, it is a lot of fun to drive!
Tummy 17 weeks

This is my pregnant stomach at 17 weeks. I dont know if you can really tell very much, but Michael and I sure can these days. Plus, none of my clothes fit anymore which is kind of frustrating. My new jeans should be arriving in the mail any day now and I can't wait!
17 Week Appointment
Today we had our 17 week O.B. appointment. There's really not much to report. Except that we were a little dissapointed when we got to our appointment that was scheduled for 9:15 AM, only to find that my doctor was called into surgery and it ran over an hour late. It was about 10:30 before we were seen. Oh well, enough complaining. We didn't have an ultrasound this time but Michael and I are thankful that the heart rate was good at about 150 BPM. And the doctor could hear lots of movement, some of which I think I may have been able to feel but I am not really sure. So everything is looking GREAT!
